Field Trips
As any Texas Master Naturalist will tell you, field trips are one of the most enjoyable aspects of the training program. Nothing beats getting outdoors among like-minded people, visiting new places, and sharing knowledge of all aspects of our natural world. What could be more fun?
We have an array of field trips planned for you. We will visit several local preserves and restoration areas our chapter works with. Come join us and gain some field experience with our local Blackland Prairie flora, fauna, and ecosystems.
Important! You are required to attend three field trips, but you can attend more! (Note that some sites offer two different dates. You should choose one or the other to attend, but not both.) Field trips are excellent learning opportunities, as well as a great chance to get to know other chapter members. Choose field trips that appeal to you and fit your schedule. You can sign up for field trips on our SignUp Genius, through the class website at BPTMNclass.net.
